What started as a temporary contract 35 years ago turned into a lifetime career!
Marking 35 years since Paul Rosewarne first joined us following his apprenticeship as a Wood Machinist in 1991!
Paul is the second-generation Rosewarne to choose a career at B&S, his dad, Mill Manager Dave, tipped Paul off that we were looking for a machinist. That’s when a fresh-faced, 22-year-old Paul officially joined the team in our joinery workshop.
In the decades since, Paul’s role has truly evolved. Many of you will know him from his time managing the plant and facilities at our head office, where he kept our day-to-day operations running smoothly for years. Keen to take on a new challenge, Paul went on to complete his Level 6 Diploma in Construction Management and made the transition out to our live sites. For the past two years, he has been working as a Site Manager, putting his practical knowledge and new qualifications to work alongside our operations teams to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
He is currently based on our Filwood Community Centre project, keeping day-to-day operations moving on the ground.
35 years with one company is a massive achievement. Thank you, Paul, for everything you have contributed over the decades and for your continued hard work and commitment!
