What a brilliant Friday! Our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning and Bake-Off was a huge success, thanks to the incredible baking talents of our staff (and their families!) and the outstanding generosity of everyone who donated.
Our team truly went above and beyond this year, transforming the office with the irresistible aroma of homemade treats.
We had a mouth-watering mix of both sweet and savoury bakes, all sold to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Just look at the line-up: from perfect carrot, chocolate, banana and cheese cakes to delicious sausage rolls, caramelised onion tarts, bacon and cheese tarts, pasties and quiches, there was something to tempt every taste bud!
The generosity extended far beyond our office doors. We were thrilled to take our bakes out to support the local community, visiting the friendly faces at the temporary home of the Filwood Community Centre team, the talented crew at Wild West Tattoo Studio, our supportive supply chain partners on site Bedrock Civil Engineering Ltd and our site team. They all showed amazing spirit by buying up our treats for this vital cause.
Thanks to the hard work of our amazing bakers and the generosity of everyone who contributed, we managed to raise a fantastic amount of money for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity.
A massive well done and thank you to everyone involved! We can't wait to do it all again next year!
