At Bray & Slaughter, we believe in the importance of supporting our local community, particularly during the festive season. We are proud to announce the successful conclusion of our annual Christmas food collection in support of The Matthew Tree Project, an organisation dedicated to providing essential relief to vulnerable families.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our staff members, our team successfully gathered a substantial volume of essential items. The donations were recently collected by Michelle, Tina, and Jonathan from The Matthew Tree Project, who expressed their gratitude for the team’s commitment to the cause.
We were delighted to receive a personal note of thanks from Michelle Goodway, Chief Operating Officer at The Matthew Tree Project:
"We wanted to say a huge thank you for your fantastic, generous donations, which weighed an incredible 178 kg. Your support will make a real difference to the families and individuals we work with every day. It is wonderful to work with caring partners who share our commitment to helping the community."
In addition to the physical donations, we were pleased to provide further financial assistance. Utilising a £200 voucher awarded to us by The Coreus Foundation following a charity event earlier this year, we have been able to provide an extra boost to the project’s resources this winter.
Between the 178 kg of food supplies and the additional financial contribution, this initiative highlights what can be achieved through collective action. We are incredibly proud of our staff for their continued dedication to social value and community support.
As we look forward to the year ahead, we remain committed to fostering these vital local partnerships. On behalf of everyone at Bray & Slaughter, we wish our clients, partners, and our communities a safe and prosperous New Year.
