We were delighted to attend a recent community engagement hosted by The Robin Foundation at Mendip Broadwalk Football Club. This event was an excellent opportunity to learn more about the Foundation's exciting plans for a new sports and education hub at Filwood Playing Fields.
The day also gave us a valuable chance to connect with local residents and provide updates on our ongoing work at the Filwood Community Centre. It was a pleasure to meet so many people from the community, answer their questions, and discuss the progress on the project in person.
To add a bit of fun to the day, we ran a competition asking attendees to "guess how many tiles were on the roof at Filwood Community Centre". A lucky winner Kaitlin from Knowle won a £50 Bristol City Gift Voucher for the closest guess!
We were proud to support this community initiative and look forward to continuing our engagements in the local area.
